Friday, March 21, 2025 - In a crackdown against narcotics trafficking, a multi-agency team, including officers from Mugutha Police Station and the National Government Administration Officers (NGAO), has apprehended two drug traffickers and confiscated 800 rolls of bhang.
The suspects, Tyson Mwai, 30, and Samson Gathuki, 21, were
caught with their hands in the cookie jar during a targeted raid in Kimbo area.
Authorities not only seized the rolls but also discovered a
range of bhang packaged in sachets: 13 polythene sachets of 35 grams each, five
sachets weighing 130 grams, 44 sachets of 16 grams, and two digital weighing
machines, signalling a well-organized trafficking operation.
The duo is currently in police custody undergoing processing pending arraignment.
