Monday, February 17, 2025 - The National Chairperson of the Kenya Primary Schools Headteachers Association (KEPSHA,) Johnson Nzioka, has passed on after he was involved in a road crash in Athi River on Sunday afternoon.
KNUT Secretary General, Collins Oyuu, sent his condolences
remembering Nzioka as a leader with distinct diplomatic skills that helped
redefine KEPSHA at a time when Education management in the country was
undergoing strategic reforms.
“Nzioka has been a regular contributor to teachers’
well-being generally. He will be remembered for his soft but forthright
speaking especially while brokering peace among his members,” he said.
Nzioka’s Prado rammed into a truck along the busy highway,
leaving him with serious injuries.
He later succumbed to the injuries in a local hospital.
