Wednesday, February 12, 2025 - A video has emerged showing the moment two men were abducted by plainclothe police officers along a busy road in Ruiru.
The victims were caught off-guard while running their errands
and bundled into the boot of a Subaru.
In the video, the victims are seen being picked up from a
crowd by armed men in civilian attires and bundled into a Subaru which had been
parked in the middle of a road, creating a traffic snarl up.
The car drove off towards Thika Road after the abduction.
The incident happened as members of the public watched
instead of rescuing the victims from the abductors.
