Education MEC, MBALI FRASER, says weather conditions will not affect learning

Monday, January 22, 2024 – KwaZulu Natal Education MEC, Mbali Fraser, says her office is prepared to deal with inclement weather repercussions in schools.

She says as heavy rains continue to pour, the department is ready to attend to any damages and prevent further disruptions as the school year starts.

Fraser made these remarks while speaking to the media at Lalelani Primary School in the West of Durban.

Responding to weather concerns, she is confident the academic programme will not be interrupted.
