SLAYYYTER cancels two concerts to avoid causing 'further voice damage'

Thursday, October 22, 2026 - Pop singer Slayyyter has cancelled two European tour dates after completely losing her voice, with doctors advising her to stop performing to prevent further damage. The 30-year-old artist announced on October 21, 2026, that she would no longer perform in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 22, or Hamburg, Germany, on October 23.

Expressing disappointment over the decision, she apologised to fans, explaining that she could not deliver the quality of performance they deserved. The announcement has raised fresh concerns about the physical demands of touring and the importance of protecting vocal health.

The cancellations come after Slayyyter performed in Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne during her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR. She revealed that medical advice was behind the decision, stressing that she wanted to recover rather than risk worsening her condition.

The singer, whose real name is Catherine Garner, also confirmed that refunds would be available through the original ticket sellers. Her next scheduled performance was in Warsaw, Poland, on October 24, although proceeding with the show would depend on her recovery.

The setback comes at a crucial time for Slayyyter as she continues building her international audience through live performances and new music. For fans, the cancellations are disappointing, particularly where concerts were already sold out, but the decision highlights why artists must take vocal injuries seriously.

With more tour dates scheduled across Europe, attention will now turn to whether she recovers in time to resume her performances. Protecting her voice remains essential not only for the current tour but also for sustaining her career and delivering the energetic shows her growing fan base expects.
